Choosing an Orangery or Conservatory?
Your house will be a big influence on any orangery that we design for you so that people could easily mistake it for always being a part of the building. Because it uses more brickwork than a conservatory and less glass, it can be a more private setting and will be a space that you can depend on for comfort day in, day out.
Because Weatherproof will let you go bespoke with your orangery, you can do almost anything. This will include choosing between a traditional and modern design.

Traditional Orangery or Contemporary Orangery?
Weatherproof is the type of company that likes to offer its customers lots of choice. If you want many of the features of a traditional orangery at a low cost, we recommend our modern orangeries. Based on the solid brick structure of a traditional orangery, it looks and feels almost entirely the same on the inside.
However, it won’t have the flat perimeter around the roof that you get in a traditional orangery. What both forms of orangery promise though is a beautiful atmosphere inside.

Get the Look!
The temperature regulation will be just perfect when you have a modern glass roof with intelligent glazing. It will stop the weather from spoiling the internal climate, to make it a true year-round space and give you full value out of the investment.
Your key question
What is more important to you, that your orangery is an extension of your home’s character or that it elevates your garden? Once we know, we can begin coming up with a suitable solution.

Choosing a UPVC frame opens up many colour options...
In its infancy, UPVC would only be supplied in a very limited number of colour options, but technology has enabled it to be finished in a much broader range of colours. Within our standard colour suite is White, Cream, Whitegrain and Chartwell Green, and our contemporary colour suite includes Irish Oak, Black and Grey.
Bring the orangery to life with an illuminating colour…
Why would you settle for a plain and unimaginative orangery when the windows and doors can be finished in just about any colour? The finish should be chosen based on the roof styling and framework, which gives you plenty options. In the colour palette you will see that we have several traditional and modern shades, along with a collection of woodgrain finishes.
Aluminium window frame colours for orangeries...
Aluminium windows possess a unique vibrancy, thanks to the careful powder-coating process we use to create each finish. Each colour undergoes no fewer than 11 stages to ensure a stunning, long-lasting result.
To replicate the beauty of natural wood, we employ a technique called sublimation to craft woodgrain effects in Oak, Walnut, and Rosewood, closely mimicking authentic timber textures.
Your orangery needs to be a comfortable living space...
An orangery from Weatherproof is available with one of three glass roofing systems – the Classic Roof, Cornice Roof, and Lantern Roof. Despite its modest look, the Classic Roof is undeniably impressive, and the Cornice Roof and Lantern Roof both scream with sophistication and luxuriousness. The detail that goes into each of three roofing systems is quite extraordinary.
All the talk will be about your impressive Lantern Roof...
We call it a Lantern Roof, whilst others call it an Atrium Roof. It’s basically the same product and one that has been used as a roof covering for orangeries from the time when the extension was first developed. Back then, it was rather simplistic, but now, it’s a bit more sophisticated, without straying too far away from its original design. You can rely on our craftspeople to create a Lantern Roof to the exact proportions needed for your orangery, and look forward to enjoying extraordinary aerial views that you will be captivated by again and again.

The cornice roof ranks amongst the very finest roofing systems...
There is certainly no mistaking a cornice roof for any of the many other orangery roofing systems there are available on the market because of the decorative cornice. We can provide the cornice in a series of coloured finishes so that it complements the brickwork of the orangery and your house as a whole. No customer has ever regretted choosing a cornice roof, which should be incentive enough to convince you of its qualities.

Crafted window handles...
As well as being pretty to look at, our traditional and modern-styled handles are lovely to use too. Our craftspeople can be thanked for that, as they have made the handles with such care.
Integrated into the handles is a secure locking system that helps to keep the windows fastened shut.
